Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba, has broken his silence since his father died last Friday, with an emotional tribute on his Instagram page.
Pogba thanked staff members at the American Hospital of Paris and the Christie Clinic in Manchester.
His father, Fassou Antoine, passed away at the age of 79 after being treated for a long-term illness.
The France international missed Sunday’s 2-1 defeat at Tottenham Hotspur and is also likely to miss their last two Premier League fixtures against Southampton and Crystal Palace.
The player is expected to be ready for the Europa League final against Ajax next Wednesday.
