Cristiano Ronaldo scored a brace on his 400th appearance for Real Madrid, as they thump Borussia Dortmund 3-1 in the Champions League match on Tuesday night.
Gareth Bale had opened scoring for the defending champion in the first half, after connecting sweetly with Dani Carvajal’s cross.
Bale then later laid on a pass for Ronaldo to make it 2-0. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang pulled one back for the home side, before Ronaldo grabbed his second of the night to settle the tie.
It was Madrid’s first ever win at the Signal Iduna Park.
